Microsoft to Buy Ciao
And the online acquisitions just keep happening. Obviously not content with their online market reach after the failed buyout of Yahoo!, Microsoft has announced they are buying Ciao, which is basically a price comparison website for consumers. Microsoft has agreed to acquire a Connecticut-based research company called Greenfield Online, which runs both a website called Ciao for European comparison shoppers and an online survey system that helps businesses conduct market research.
