You may not know it, but you may be paying too much for your electricity or gas. Most people seem to think you are stuck with whatever provider you have, when in fact the industry was de-regulated a while ago, and you are now able to pick your own provider. Much like superannuation, this now means the average consumer has a choice…. and with choice (usually…) comes savings! I in fact used the website GoSwitch a while ago and was able to knock a few hundred off my bill, and while it isn’t a huge amount of money its nice to have. Just heard recently from a friend that GoSwitch has just launched a new blog about electricity… check it out here electircity news .
